I redesigned the book jacket for one of my favorite childhood books, "The Witches" by Roald Dahl. My goal was to create a simple design that allowed the illustration and type to work nicely together. I was specifically interested in exploring hand lettering to create an eerily yet playful type. I used India ink for the illustrations, which I then scanned in and manipulated to make it feel dirty.

Hand-drawn lettering for the sunny L.A. band, "The Miracals." To be used as their identity for future albums, their kick drum, and various merchandise. 

Four alphabets created based on favorite signage in Rome. Completed during a two week period through SVA Masters Workshop in Typography.
